Oppo Find X2 – Full Phone Specifications

You may have heard of Oppo, they are Chinese smartphone makers. And they have proven not to disappoint with their new flagship, the Oppo Find X2 Pro.

The smartphone came with great and exciting features, things you like. There are two spectacular main focuses on the X2 Pro, the display and camera.

A quick highlight to what the Oppo X2 Pro has in stock.

Oppo Find X2 Pro Key Features:

  • 6.7inches AMOLED Display, 1440 X 3168 pixels (~513PPI)
  • Android 10, ColorOS 7.1
  • Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
  • 12GB RAM, 513GB built-in storage
  • 48MP + 13MP + 48MP triple rear camera
  • 32MP front camera
  • Under display fingerprint
  • IP68 dust/water resistant
  • Fast battery charging 65W
  • Non-removable Li-Po 4260mAh battery.

Oppo gave it a wonderful glass finish, look so nice and good texture to add a perfect grip. And yes, you can also get it in a faux leather finish which is slightly thicker.

The ceramic version of the phone has a black rear, whereas the faux leather model is orange with the golf highlights. The back of the phone carries the long camera bump. On the right-hand edge of the device are the volume rocker and power button, for a phone this size the buttons are fairly low down on the side making it easy for users to reach them no matter how large or small hands are.

At the bottom is a USB-C port, speaker grill, and no 3.5mm headphone jack.

With a dimension of 165.2 x 74.4 x 8.8mm and weighs 207gram, while the leather weighs 200gram. It has IP68 rating making it both dust and water resistant up to 1.5m for 30mins.

With a 6.7inches AMOLED Display packed full of features to enhance your viewing experience. It also has an impressive resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels and 513PPI density for clear visuals, 10-bit color, 120Hz refresh rate and high 800nit max brightness.

On paper it seems like that display is the same as the OnePlus 8 Pro, as the refresh rate, resolution and size are all identical and it’s likely no coincidence that both Oppo and OnePlus are owned by the same parent company and often share manufacturing facilities.

There is a fingerprint scanner integrated on the screen and also a dedicated custom chop under the screen for image processing. A punch hole cutout in top left corner where the selfie camera sits comfortably.

On the back of the phone, is the triple rear-mounted camera. The main camera is a 48MP f/1.7 snapper with Sony’s IMX689 featuring Sony’s All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF technology.

The second is a 48MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, which has a very high resolution sensor for an ultra-wide lens and it features Sony IMX586 ultra-wide lens. The camera allows users to capture images with 60x digital zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and also 5X optical zoom.

Also a third 13MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto snapper and it’s the same one on the Oppo Reno 10x zoom.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro supports video capture up to 4k at 30fps or 60fps. Unfortunately, no 8k video recording, unlike on some top-end rivals.

On the front is a 32MP f/2.4 camera, for selfies and video calling.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro is boosted by a Snapdragon 866 chipset, the top processor available to Android phones at the time of release. The SOC is based on 7nm+ process technology and it has an octa-core processor running at a maximum speed of 2.84GHz.

The chipset is paired with a 5G modem, making it 5G-compatible. The phone runs on the latest Android 10 operating system, with Oppo’s custom ColorOS UI laid over the top.

The in-built storage is 512GB and it has no support for micro SD card with 12GB of RAM making the Oppo X2 Pro run on high processing speed.

And the fun trying is that you can lock apps that you want to keep running in the background so as not to start again.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro has a 4260mAh battery, which may be low for smartphones released in 2020. But with the 65W VOOC charger, charging system is very snappy and promises to charge your phone full charge in only 38minutes.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro will sell for N498,000 Nigerian naira which is equivalent to $1357. Prices vary in time and depending on your location.
